DNF at 52%. Well written and fast moving but I should have listened to the alarm bells in my head about the dogs. Don’t read this if you like dogs. Or seals. Or penguins. Also, Shackleton, what an old colonizing imperialist. I will find out what happens in the end on Wikipedia where I don’t have to read the dog horror show details.
