My opinion about Art Spiegelmann remains the same as when I read his book Rathouse. He is a Zionist, and a disgusting reminder that we are heading to war, without any hopes for a better future ahead of us.

This book was truly a herculean effort. But the ending made it worthwhile. The characters in this story and their progression - the naïvity of Eve, the doscordant embitterment of Satan, the sadness of Adam over his fall yet the nobility and courage he maintained and which was clearly shown in Book XI and XII - are all master strokes in my opinion. Brilliantly written and meticulously arranged

The thesis is well structured so far as I've read. At the same time, the layout of this academic pursuit is interesting because for a start, its a development which compares pre-Islamic Persia and post-Islamic Persia and how the two affect or amalgamate in their contribution to muslim philosophy. I didn't find it biased thus far, so its a decent read.
