I thought I wouldn’t enjoy them being separated but I really like how book 2 is showing why Vaasa was considered a threat. I like the dynamic. I don’t like the writing though lol. Caught a grammatical error which always throws me for a loop

I’m bored :/ I like Reid searching for her but she’s driving me a little crazy. I think Roman is Sutherland and I think Ozick is Vassa’s father.

I’m already love-hating the cliffhanger this book will inevitably have. Writing is much better

Writing kind of sucks. So does the main female character. Reid is a copy paste version of every fantasy male hero ever
