Had to catch up through fandom sites on the status quo because it's been ages since I've read the first book, now I'm ready for this

25% into the book and just wanna say this to the author: either move on or bring that loser H back, i freaking cannot take much more of this ughhhh

On page 2 and already her description of amall towns/high school is so accurate i am now hooked

As readers, we are automatically attuned to the protagonists, and hence, don't realize their flaws, but then when some other character points it, you're like, woo, that's right. Just realized june is self-centered, who doesn't have any regard for other people's convenience, only hers. I really like the writing in this book, where they don't make the 'other guy' mean. In fact, i agree with him. June needs to grow up

This book is way funnier than i ever expected it to be..

She thinks people who listen to mainstream music are "manufactured and fake." oh come on june.. that is you being mean spirited. Have to remind myself to cut her some slack since she's only a high schooler
