What is going on???

These Cranks, the ones past the Gone, are more creepy than plain old zombies ... Probably because they are insane.

Good good good! And gruesome ....

Im intrigued. The only thing is I wish it had less cursing. In today's standards though its not even excessive, I just prefer my books to be clean.

The ending was intense; it was made even more intense by the sudden way the author ripped you from the horror-filled world Ralph lived in and showed the "savages" for what they really are, children with clay paint on their faces and pointy sticks in their hands. And maybe that's the scariest thing of all.

Jack is such an annoying hot-head; Ralph is definitely my favorite, but then again he's the MC; Simon seems nice enough, as well. But For some reason ... Something about Piggy ...

Yep. It's official. Jack is a creeper.

Piggy is smart, but Ralph is intelligent. Ralph "gets it" now; he gets what it means to be stuck on the island. And Jack, I've never liked Jack.

So far, I think I like Piggy best.
