Decided not to finish The Frozen Rabbi. I'm afraid I am not well versed enough in Yiddish and Jewish traditions and ceremonies to be able to appreciate it. Hope you and yours have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

Finished Adam and Eve. Disappointed and dissatisfied with the story and the characters. I have returned to Gendarme and I seem to be more in the mood to finish it this time.

Didn't finish Fly Away Home since so much of the same story has been in the news. I'm trying to finish Gendarme but have started Adam and Eve by Sena Jeter Naslund. Quite good so far ---

Reading Fly Away Home now. Sor far so good. About Senator cheating on his wife. First of Jennifer Weiners I've read. This is mostly from the women's perspective - mother in law, daughters and wife. I understand hers mostly are what used to be called "women's books".
