Jonah of course sees this as an opportunity to kill her. A fight breaks out, during which the king’s sword is destroyed by Killian. And Jonah escapes, BUT Meryn kills a lot of people with her mind alone, scaring her allies.
Back in the Stark’s office, she finally breaks down, refusing comfort from Anassa and hurting herself to push the intrusive thoughts away.

Chapter 1 — 3: Meryn

She feels the connection with Stark, but pushes it away. He’s so damn hot, calling her “My queen” and all the good stuff.
When they settle next to Saela’s prison cell, Killian’s voice suddenly speaks through every bonded’s mind, telling them she’s a userper.
Meryn tries to explain everything but many do not believe her. Her friends do and come to her side. Stark’s mom too.

Picking up exactly where we left off— with her sister viciously biting someone after she suddenly turns into a vampire. Meryn locks her sister in the dungeon.
Anassa is a pillar of strength Meryn so desperately needs, holding her up and supporting her on every decision.

Stark’s chapter:

he has been looking after the Coopers all his life. his whole family line is destined for that
he sees her in the fighting pit (after 3 years of being away) and realises she is fucking the prince, aka—slimy fucking weasel.

Cooper women go mad because they don’t bond with the wolves. As predicted.

Final chapter 58
Stark comforts her but she cannot bear a touch by anyone not after Killian, so he senses that and stops
She finally gets to her sister, but Saela turns into a vampire
the end

chapter 57
She escaped the dungeon and goes to confront Killian
He siphons her powers through the engagement bracelet and when she runs off, she is not able to take it off
His father was eating the kids
now Killian is a vampire too

chapter 56

Stark reveals that he was the one to ask for her single room and to give her the pretty dress
HE IS THE PROTECTOR OF THE ROYAL LINE
He confesses that he hated her because she was fucking the enemy
Oh, it turns out Killian has vampire blood in him

Lo and behold Stark arrives and she finally realises who her wolf’s mate is
Through vision after she puts on the lost crown, she realises that she is the heir to the throne
Stark kneels before her

chapter 54
she’s locked inside the dungeon prison with her wolf
They have an argument, but come to an understanding that neither of them trusted the other enough to share everything
She asks once again, who Anassa’s mate, but the wolf doesn’t tell her
But, Anassa contacts her mate and ask him to come help them

We keep acting like we don’t know who it is

chapter 53
hell breaks loose and wolves try to kill each other
Her back stands together against the compulsion
she leaps on to the Kings platform and kills the king
As predicted, Killian turns on her
Accused her of killing the king while acting like a concerned son

chapter 52:
She goes to tell Killian about the children
He’s such a brilliant actor, acting concerned about them
They make a plan—Meryn will kill the king during the graduation ceremony
Stark looking down as fuck— because he knows what she’s gonna do
King orders the last fight before the graduation because why not?

Killian has found the perfect assassin to take out his father
And she’ll do it all by herself, too
Probably gonna kill him, and Killian will take over and fuck everything up even more

chapter 51:
venna take her down down down below under the castle until they find the children and her sister
She promises Saela that she’ll be back
Sister says that it was the king who imprisoned them
Takes one or two children at the time and does something terrible to them

chapter 50:
Stark does not give her the new tattoo; they snarl at each other in anger
Killian comes for a fuck and charms her pack in the middle ( creepers convinced he owns her)
Venna has found something

chapter 49:
She had to give Henry the killing blow because he was slowly bleeding out in the arena
Henry’s body is taken somewhere downstairs, which is very suspicious

chapter 48:
The unity trial
Jonah kills Henry after he threatened her he will remove our lowborn from the ranks
And she was too dumb to realise he wasn’t talking about her

chapter 47:
The unity trial is in three days
Her friends are celebrating her queen to be status
Venna is looking for Intel on the king

chapter 46:
She goes to Starks office to find the old book
In it— a history before Killian’s Liene, dated over 500 years back
She recognises a crown of two wolves belonging to the old Queens, which her mother has also drawn in her journal
Stark and Anassa both refused to explain what’s happening which pisses her off

chapter5:
Funeral, everyone shows up, even her new pack and friends, because Stark told them about it — like a real mate should. thank you
She finds her mother’s journals and her wolf tells her to hide them before Killian sees
Anassa encourages her to look for answers

chapter 44:
she and stark go back in silence and she makes a detour to meet her mom.
finds out that her mother is dead. which, naturally, leads Killian to propose to her.
and that dumb bitch agrees to marry him despite Anassa's insistance that it's not a good decision to make while in this distress.
+ Meryn ain't alone, but Lee clearly needs something from her. so he persists.

chapter 42 and 43:
they get to the Siphon's hiding place, attack and kill (almost) everyone but find no children (someone tipped the vampires off)
she gets 3 kills (new tatts incoming)
torturing the vampire gets them nowhere
Stark gives her new tatto, licks her arm, she moans (twice) and they have an eye-to-eye-i'm-ready-to-fuck-you moment.

they stop in the midpoint, a town Linsfall, where a bard sings a song about a bonded warrior saving the town from vampire attack, singlehandedly ofc. and ofc that’s Stark

two weeks of training with Stark
her and the new Gamma can’t find the right footing between Gamma instructing her and listening to her Alpha orders
Jonah attacks during cross-pack training and Stark “saves” her, shouting at the idiot in from of everyone
Stark resets har nose while kneeling in between her feet. OKAY
there’s a “weird feeling” she gets from him being so close

my… ugh.. theories:

I think it was Lee who started the rumour that vampires are kidnapping children
I think HE is responsible, but why, it is not clear
To get into power quicker? With the help of the vampires, maybe.
I think he hates the Bonded.

I also think that Meryn has some old royal blood in her, and that is why she’s seeing visions
