Hooked and don't want to put this down.

I liked the opening, but we've wandered into designer brands, lifestyle branding, and internet drama. Can't help feeling I've entered the Twilight Zone.

Cannot stress it enough... GET THE AUDIO EDITION OF THIS ONE!

They sing and it adds so much to the narrative.

The goal is to finish this one today...

Grace Stone Coates' "The Old Freighter Comes Back In A Ford" and Mary Brennan Clapp's "Mullein" didn't do much for me. Not the author's fault, I just don't care much for poetry.

"My Country" by Arapooish was good, but heavy handed.

Moving into the fourth section, Beyond Law, tomorrow.

Circling back to this after a long break.

"The Third Year" by Lincoln hit an interesting subject, but I didn't care for the poem. I've similar feelings about "Origin of the Bad Lands" by Red Bird.

Gisborne's "A Forest Fire Explosion" was an academic piece about the 90k-acre Half Moon fire in 1929. A standout, not for its style, but because this piece is also freely available on Glacier's NPS page.

Only ten more chapters!

Moving into Book 3 and hoping to finish today. Love the historical scope of the novel, but am disappointed with the characters themselves.
