Oy ... This is weird to me. I'm not connecting with the MCs and their prickliness is just downright juvenile... I'm DRAGGING myself through it ... Waiting for it to start making sense... But so far it's stupidity justified in ways that are intolerable to me. For instance, JP telling Kelsey she doesn't look good at all and he's seen better simply because he's irritated with how badly the date went... What is he 5?

The story line of the novellas prior to this had a freshness to it with the desert assassins and their culture. Throne of Glass is starting to feel Hunger Gamey... With the whole tournament thing and mercenary candidates... Hope it won't actually turn out that way.

I wanna gauge out my eyes... This level of single-minded thirst for revenge is borderline mentally ill.
And while I understand the need for a woman to stand on her own and prove she can be independent, even without experience being alone, some measures about safety are just common sense. Like Don't run to the outside of your house towards the sound of danger armed with a stupid knife you don't even know how to use!

This is surprisingly refreshing while being educational. It's not your run of the mill financial advisor with all the jargon of the accounting world. It's been so personalised and filled with anec dots that are so amusing and funny as well as eye opening. Wish I'd started reading it sooner!

Oh my God! I'm 9 chapters in and I have to drag through like walking in sticky, thick, goey sludge. It's taking forever to unravel the blasted plot that I'm hopping onto other books for a reprieve from the boringness of it all. I have a code, "Always finish what you start", and do I must see this through, otherwise, it looks like it'll end up on my 'Wish I Never Read' shelf.

Just out of morbid curiosity from the mixed reviews, I started this. Highly recommended by Goodreads, over 400 thousand reviews, some saying nay, some exceedingly nay ... I had to see for myself... And so far, while being a trope, it's actually funny... So I am finding it in me to forgive the overly used lovers to haters trope...

I'm sorry... You just watched some highly trained soldiers get mind controlled and murder civilians brutally and you have the wherewithal to notice how Rogan's shirt "hugged his frame"? You, a normal 25 year old woman who's not used to violence, very sensitive and emotional...? #shocking

50% through the book and so far it's been a broken record/roundabout over Lena's pussy and selfless character that every Alpha in a million mile radius craves. Not a single chapter goes by without sex or sexual acts and the characters praising Lena's rare wild sex and to the death kind of love. There's like, 10% of a story and 40% sex. #Major Eyeroll

Ralph has finally joined the hearts cut out crew and now it's very apparent that this is Devina's handiwork while she looks for the book.... Interesting

I actually couldn't finish this book. The writing style is far too much like a documentary or archaeological statistics rather than a story. Not my cup of coffee.

It is surprisingly well written, it doesn't feel like a documentary but rather like taking a sneak peek in a personal artsy journal

I'm guessing The sailor is either the count himself or Legend...
I hope I'll be blown away...

I'm glad to have been proven wrong about Holly's "otherness".
I hate predictability in a book. A good surprise is always refreshing and though nothing shocked me or impressed me in this book, it was at least a pleasant story that showed a side to Venom that makes you fall in love with the creature ... I'm certainly looking forward to the next part of the story to unfold...

Oh My gosh This cracked me up. I love how Venom can be so sarcastic and funny. He's one of my favourite of Raphael's minions from this point on...
As for Holly... well... girl needs to embrace her bloody "other"demons, she'll be more powerful for it. Obviously she's no Uram.

I love how it's building up to a beautiful slow but strong climax.
It's something any honest human being can learn from really. It is not for dimwits out for raucous dramatic flares.
It's slow paced, simple and real, in a way that makes you reconsider the possibility of other worlds, of the supernatural....
I'm so in love with it so far ....

This series has lost it's zing, it's just another cliché now.
