Dunno if I'm going to finish this one. I need to get better about not finishing shitty books. I'm good about not finishing just about anything else. Ham on Rye was enjoyable enough that I bought Post Office and this one. Post Office was worth the read. This is just a lot of stuff that should have been edited out. It's boring. Boring stuff by a bore. He's succeeding in being unlikable, at least. If that was his goal.

Ugh. Not sure I'm going to be able to finish this book. I'm sure he would be a great and entertaining house guest, but his writing, at least with this book, is just flat. His magic asshole (see pp. 99-107) can't seem to help keep it engaging.

While I'm only on page 590, I'm enjoying this one quite a bit.

The writing is better than I'd anticipated.

Am thinking the book could be half as long as it is if the authors could get over themselves and how wonderful they think jQuery is. As it is, they are putting me off of something I already am prejudiced against, and that's just sad. It's a tedious read.
