I don't know where the book is lol it got lost in some corner when I moved... :-)

I love it, and could get it on time. it had bits a bit curious on one story, the one which scared me a bit, but overall I loved each story so far, even the scary one... :-) I am delighted to read other writers, and different styles. there are minor faults here and there but nothing too disturbing. I may even read again a few stories. definitely one book to keep on your elf shelves! ;-)

there is some kind of spell in this book, even if it makes me an hopeless romantic, I always love the nostalgia this type of stories has. this spell was profound, full of promises and though I felt down at times, I am thanking from all my heart the author for this good moment of reading. she brought to another world for a few hours.

I got this book for free, published under the title 'a scent of magic'. This title seems more accurate than the one listed here. for now I feel like a spell has been thrown over the two main characters, a fate I hope they will overcome. The story is real good one, I put 4 stars for the tiny faults I found here and there, nothing really annoying.

very good writing style, sensible, a must read some poem are really hot but it's not what I enjoyed most. there is a real work on the meanings, and I am sure the author will go very far with this.

I just begin to read it, and i already can counsel you this author of poetry. The style is good, rich and powerful. Enjoy it!!

I finished it, I still love the portrayal of the main characters, I will read the sequel no matter what. ;-) I wish good luck to the author to make an outstanding work, she deserve it.

I think I won't comment on this one, out of respect for the author, AJ, who is a sweet person. I can't say more for now.

Good lord, the end of the book is great, all the last part just goes up and up again, it's a real end, but opening to the sequel too. sigh... it leaves me empty a bit and eager to read the next!! pfff

always good to read, there was a real proof reading, so the writing style is good. the characters are interesting, even though the story aren't totally original (sorry, i know how hard it is to write and find ideas). I dread a bit the end, I think I will want very fast the sequel. :-) I read some found it an easy read. they were right ;-)

so far, it's good enough, just one thing, never in any Conan Doyle books, I read sherlock would have cried as in screaming... where is the proverbial attitude of the British here! :-) it made me smile.

The crime is set in the style of Conan Doyle but the style of writing lacks of the original charm of Conan Doyle books, still it's good to read with a good plot.

pure joy till the end, I feel good, it is a good feeling. enjoy this book now.

I hope the end will be a fairytale, so if you don't like this kind of book, well too bad... lol I love it for what it is a nice treat with no bad tough moments, joy joy... (part two of my comment :-) )

OK the book lives up to my expectations, it's a minimal thing right? OK I am romantic to death... and this book feeds perfectly my current need, the two characters are full of light, the book is well written still at this point, so for me it's good moment, plain and simple.

it's the perfect light cool read I needed after Colleen Hoover books. the two characters are full of humour, the style of writing seems more USA style than British. but all in all it's cool for now. I needed a restful romantic story. :-)

i am reading this book in french, it's a high level of writing and philosophy, but an enjoyable read anyway. I recommend it 200% !!! it helps me comprehend stuff after my surgery, strangely but really. there is so many levels of read in this book, serious and non serious. read it.

I will be kind because the author is a very sweet woman. Some poems are too simple to be good enough, but all in all, everyone can find something good in these poems. I know for sure the author put her heart and bones in this book and I thank her for that as not all authors do that.

ohhh the feeling is bittersweet, I just feel a bit sad to have finished this book. I loved the end, I loved the final letters especially. I also would have liked some kind of end for Daniel character too. I still maintain that doubling the book was not needed, I would have preferred a longer first book with both POV.

finally one poem original, not boring, 'an angel alights'... :-)

OK I was ready to add the 4rth star, but "bitch"???!!! was so lame and disappointing. Several poems lack of work, too simple, I can be gentle and tell it's the author style. Maybe I like a little more meaning in the poems I read.

and at the same time, it is slightly better than another book of poetry I bought a few months ago. I am in between stars 3 and 4. I hope to change my mind by the end of the book. promising author.

I retrieved another star because it's too repetitive, the new parts would have been best included in the original book. I'm not very fond of this '1 point of view -1 book' system, I won't try it again. it's still well written. Daniel character is the only real novelty, but he could have been easily included in the 1st book. I'd have more accepted the 1st book divided in 2 parts than this copy paste.
