Initial thoughts- this is feeling like the author threw together a bunch of stereotypical plot devices and unoriginal character archetypes hoping they’d stick. Something about the characters, the relationships, etc all give me a sense of déjà vu….. not to say the basic premise isn’t original it is however it’s everything else that feels rather…..monotonous. Unauthentic
