I'm sorry, but I really can't get over the writing style of this novel. I get that some love it, but it really doesn't work for me. It's like listening to myself, without my ADHD-medicine, trying to tell a story (while tired) 😅

I would enjoy this a whole lot more if it wasn't so white (cishetero, ablebodied etc) feminism

God, this book is so ridiculously ableist in how Afa is described. Really uncomfortable to read tbh, and if I didn't need to read it (because of my thesis) I would have put it down long ago
