There's way too much shouting and arguing.

Frankly I'm bored. I'm 25% done and we are just now leaving the US. Grown woman, in the same job for 9 years and has no friends to talk to except her dog? Ok, her parents are dead, and 1 work friend she isn't that close to, but that's it? No college friends? Work pals? If no one wants to hang with this girl, why would I?
I'm out.

Good enough that I want to know what happens, but my interest is waning.
Lacks conflict. Yes, kidnapping, scheme to save the clan, etc... But regarding the romance, she got a dang necklace that says he's her "hero", and he immediately proposed marriage, and it's been smooth sailing from there. As far as this romance is concerned, I'm not on the edge of my seat.
Maybe I'll skip to the end and move on.
