I mean, it's fun and all, but so far this reads like a total dude wishfulfillment fantasy.
Darrow has no personality, he essentially gets everything handed to him OR he's just randomly smarter and better than everyone else, even though that makes no sense within the confines of the world building.

The comparisons to The Will of the Many are very obvious now but WotM did it better... We'll see how this goes.
