I have 5 or 6 chapters of this left and I'm scared for how this ends. I figured a YA book about killer clowns would be easy to handle, but this is absolutely brutal. I'm kind of incredulous even though I'm also not surprised at all.

I know this is a retelling of Goose Girl, but I can't help thinking that this book is Rapunzel getting coerced into one of Mother Gothel's schemes.
