I’m an Edwin Courcey defender. He’s my magical autistic little guy and so I’m having a REAL hard time with Lord Hawthorn as a main character. He was mean to Edwin so I just can’t make myself root for him - In fact, hate him and I hope his pillow is warm and I REALLY wanna know how this series ends but…. I’m Im SUCH a grudge holder 😤

I’ve never been so irritated with a character in my life. Girly has been given a golden opportunity to flee a murderer but apparently she’s just taking a ride with a psycho for the plot and I’m about to dnf because that plot is stupid.

I always end up back with this series when I feel a reading slump coming on - it’s basically a prescription drug for me at this point

I am a little confused. As soon as a book starts time skipping I feel a bit like my head has been thrown into a washer on spin cycle but I am persevering because the writing style is pretty.

I’m disabled and I’m sorry y’all, but this book be screaming ableism…. I think I’m gonna have to dnf. There are other reasons (yes, it gets worse) but I really don’t think I can handle this
