Progress at last!

I am enjoying reading this slow, even if it is slower than I thought (my reading not the book). The pace works for me. It alternates high action, atmospheric description, and quiet intimate moments. So good.

OMG the wedding!

I am enjoying this book. It reminds me that I used to love historical novels and reading about how they lived life. Very interested in what comes next.

I am DNFing at 54%. There are just too many things that I dislike. Love triangle. Decisions by FMC that don't make sense. By this point in the book, I hate all of the characters. The mystery about who her father is and her mother's secrets are the only reasons I would go back to this book or continue in the series.
