Poetically beautiful. Yet… not sure I agree completely with some of the liturgies? I’m also listening to this on audio book at the same time (narrated by the author). The text is brown colour which is not as good contrast for the page!

Struggled through over 250 pages of clever (too clever) and detailed writing but finally at the point where I can’t put it down! Personally I think this book needs a TW for racism ;(

It’s ok. It’s mainly context about Asian America, history, and defining terms so far. Good to hear other peoples’ stories from a wide range of cultures and immigrant histories, including refugees.

This book is so good! Listening to the audiobook. I wish I listened to this when I first became a manager. There's good story and examples and practical tips too. I like how the author uses pronouns like 'she' (and 'he'), but it seems significant to me to call a manager a 'she'. Also the author is an Chinese-American woman :)
