almost dnf'd about 100 pages in but im glad i kept reading. i think it was helpful to continue reading after watching the odyssey bc the same characters appear. maybe 4.5/5

pretty fun, i havent read fantasy in a while. kind of confusing relationships and jude was annoying sometimes. buddy read with a friend so the commentary made it more enjoyable. maybe just under a 4 stars. i hear the next two book are better so ill be reading them eventually

3.5/5 fun premise but i feel like i was waiting for something more to happen and then it never really did, i enjoyed the atmosphere but didn't really like the characters..
