Sorry to everyone in my life that now has to hear all the fun facts I learned from this whenever reality tv is mentioned.

HOW AM I THE FIRST PERSON REVIEWING THIS?

The prose in this one blew me away so much that often times while reading it, I had to set it down and just sit with the feelings. I want to write a review that this book deserves but I need to sit with it a little longer I think.

You ever immediately finish a book and wish you could read all over again for the first time? Cause this is the one.

About halfway through I had to Google this lady so I could put a face to the topic and EXACTLY who / what I pictured. This for me was a DNF for the last bit because this is some peak centric white feminist nonsense. Seems to come across that this lady doesn’t truly understand violence, trauma or oppression. For me the times I thought easy for you to say/think this white Christian lady was intense during this one.

Gus needs therapy and to stop projecting his issues not a girlfriend. Fast read though.

This book was the most I’ve ever want a non fiction book to NEVER end. Also now I want to deep clean my house, never end up in a hospital and am going to judge the shit out of every future office.

Listened to the audiobook.

On my own slow start to buy less, I came across this book, and I loved hearing about how the author managed to turn her life around by saving. I really identified with a lot of the authors story.
