The reviews didn’t lie, this does read like slightly cringe fanfic- but I can’t bring myself to stop 🙈

This book is bananas!! (in the best way possible)

It pains me to admit this, but I am struggling to get through this one >.<
Not nearly as enjoyable/accessible as Stephen King's "On Writing."
I intend to finish it though as I have come too far to give up.

I will be traveling out of the country for two weeks and will be taking a Goodreads hiatus until I return.

Not sure about this one so far. I am listening to the audiobook version. I like the prep school flashbacks, but during the parts that take place in the present day the friends act as though they are soooo old (even though they are only middle-aged) and it is a little too melodramatic for my taste. Could be the narrator though...

Should I be concerned that I am not addicted by now?

I'm giving in to all the hype and finally taking the plunge with this one...
