Between every rational moment we're a billion irrational ones. Somewhere behind the hours there was a place where the Hogfather rode, the tooth fairies climbed their ladders, Jack Frost drew his pictures, the Soul Cake Duck laid her chocolate eggs. In the endless spaces between the clumsy seconds Death moved like a witch dancing through the raindrops, never getting wet.

Library book expired and have to wait for loan again.

"Lights peed travel between worlds had let him skip like a stone over the surface of time." Cool

I really like this description and wanted to record it.

"Mist swirled and spun, like monochrome paints running together on a canvas. Light died in the west, and night came of age."

'Gunilla eyed me. 'Where is your sword, Magnus?' I gestured to the ruined end of the hall. "Last I checked, he was taking a bath in a goblet." Gunilla considered that. It was the sort of statement that only made sense in the loony world of the Vikings.'

A little bit every day, a page or two.

Reading a excerpt every day, so a half page to a page. I'm happy with the wisdom I've read so far. It resonates to the place you can channel knowledge into action, which defines "wisdom." I like these wisdom books that have survived time.
