Between every rational moment we're a billion irrational ones. Somewhere behind the hours there was a place where the Hogfather rode, the tooth fairies climbed their ladders, Jack Frost drew his pictures, the Soul Cake Duck laid her chocolate eggs. In the endless spaces between the clumsy seconds Death moved like a witch dancing through the raindrops, never getting wet.

I really like this description and wanted to record it.

"Mist swirled and spun, like monochrome paints running together on a canvas. Light died in the west, and night came of age."

'Gunilla eyed me. 'Where is your sword, Magnus?' I gestured to the ruined end of the hall. "Last I checked, he was taking a bath in a goblet." Gunilla considered that. It was the sort of statement that only made sense in the loony world of the Vikings.'

Reading a excerpt every day, so a half page to a page. I'm happy with the wisdom I've read so far. It resonates to the place you can channel knowledge into action, which defines "wisdom." I like these wisdom books that have survived time.

Awesome. 'About time, 'Kelsier noted, raising a hand and pulling on one of 5he soldier's swords. It whipped out of the sheath, spinning in the air and streaking toward Kelsier point-first. He extinguished his iron, stepping to the side and catching the sword by its hilt as momentum carried it past.'
'Mistborn!' the guard shouted.

"She frowned. Was her bedroom mad at her for some reason? Or could it be unwell? Maybe it had the architectural equivalent of a head cold. Maybe this door was her bedrooms version of a great big snotty sneeze."

"I'm ravenous before I go on. I need sustenance. This star should do nicely." -Phoenix. I don't think this one has been animated or introduced to Cinema yet. She bigger and badder and more frightening than I've ever seen her.
