Huh. Horror romance. Loving the build up so far, let's see...

I am starting to loose the drive to care for these characters. 33% in and we are still at early miscommunication stage and we know the baddies are coming. And the repetition has started.

Ah, look at me, curiosity piqued, haven't even reached my standard chapter 6. Hope it's worth it.

Chapter 1 to 3, I wanted to scream.

I am more frustrated with myself more than anything else that I am going to DNF the book, but I just couldn't go forth with part III having the title of Early Experiments after what she goes through with Marquise and Scourge.

Kir+Lynne are starting to annoy me with their illogical actions. Feel like DNFing.

I will honestly be very disappointed if the killer is Daniel. It would be too bloody obvious and too bloody convenient as he's the one clearly being 'set up' as prime suspect by end of chapter 7. Just let it not be Cooper or it'll be a riot!!!

I am honestly getting bored and tired of reading this and cannot and will not DNF it because of how long I've been waiting to read this.

1. At times the Victorian dialogue.
2. Bitch, if you're gonna kill him, kill him. If you're gonna fuck, fuck.
3. 500+ pages and up to chapter 19, it is the same, repetitive, monotonous actions?
4. Death isn't making me feel scared/anticipation. He's boring, so far.

This far I have reached, I know I can't be the only one thinking this. Chop off the head, stake the heart, kill it with fire. Simple maths.

This, is now getting on my last goddamn fucking nerve.

So we've now moved from self hate to each time we are getting somewhere with the mystery, Vie has a hard on, Austin is miring over Kaden or Emmett is being a total dickward using his "killer-bod" to distract Vie?!? I mean, come on!

I'm honestly going to start skimming.

The only person who has made a lick of sense so far is Austin telling Vie, go to the police.

Also, I think it's more than one person. And I'm off to read a palette cleanser before bed.

Just finished Chapter 28, and I am standing here, writing this, mentally asking myself, should I go on?

I mean, I'm depressed as fuck, but I still want to know whodunnit.

But, curiosity is a bitch....and my interest is peaked 1000% and so I'll probably finish this, even though it's making me feel low and mad at the same. damn. time.

And there it is....hallo frustration with Y.A. books my old friend, I've come to you again...

Well, got this far and don't feel like tossing my phone....

I honestly don't know whether I'll be able to finish this book...but I shall try. I already feel like killing the antagonist in a slow and sadistic manner and I hope he does not get an easy death.

I am so tensed. Please, don't let Swayze+Griffin break up. Please, I get it...with Nate...but I feel her with Griffin. Argh!

I swear to God, if it ends up that Zach's step brother who keeps getting mentioned is actually Delia's first boyfriend (I can't even remember his name) I'll be so pissed!!!

Who knew that I'd actually like a book that is basically about two strangers texting back and forth? Read all the way to Chapter 5 before even remembering to update it on currently reading.

Second Re-read!

Back in 2017, after reading part 1, I just wasn't feeling part 2...so I left it hanging. I did not DNF it because I knew I would come back to the series. Well, Up In Smoke is out on Pre-Order, so I knew I had to be done with Preppy so that I can even figure out how Smoke fits in with the group.

Looking forward to completing this and part 3.

Eh heh...me I am tired. How long must someone keep on saying I am sorry? Declan has the patience of Methuselah...

Not even done yet but i already know this one is going to Books I love shelf and Make it a movie shelf too. Gosh! I'm falling in love with Mariana and Ryan falling in love.
