I'm about 3/5 done with the book and I can not get over how incredible Cara's 'black' voice is. Especially Vaughn. I can hear his voice in my head at it sounds like every secret crush I've had.

I have never been triggered by a book...until I tried to read this story. It IS a really compelling storyline, but it just hit so many of my own buttons, I had to put it down. I'm sorry I couldn't finish it, because The author is one of my favorites.

Lord, I haven't wanted to smack someone this bad in a minute.

As far as villains go, this one is a doozy.
