I'm currently at 29% on this one. So far, it's not that riveting yet does give you an idea of what Milania is/was like as a friend. I've never read anything much about her but on the outside she seems to have little to no personality at all. The Author and Milania were friends, bit if she were MY friend, I'd feel cheated. She gives so little of herself. But maybe it will reveal more later.

But I'm not reading in sequential order. I really wanted to read this story (Benjamin Buttob) & I did in one day. I'll report more later, if other stories in this complication make me change my mind.

Very well-written, and fully fleshed out characters! Romantic novels are not my forte, so I keep reading books (& finishing them) before going back to this book. If Romantic mystiques are one of your favorite genres, I highly recommend this novel.

Loving this 5-Novel Book Set! Each could stand its own, but after reading the first book of the series, I immediately took advantage of the promotional sales price of $4.99 for all five books. I'm loving them all. And none of the novels are too short, either. I'm 52% or so through, yet I'm just about to begin Novel #4 in the series.

I'm really enjoying this book! I've found a new, great writer, for me. I'll rate when I've finished.

Too early to tell how it is. But the style of writing seems fine. I'll update as I get a bit further on in the book.

So far, so good! I got the sample first this morning & at the end of about 35 pgs it stopped. It was good enough to pay the $9.99 to read the book. It's been on my Want List on Amazon for a while now.

My husband bought me this one as an anniversary gift! He says I'm hard to buy for b/c I read so much. But Amazon (& the price of the book) indicated I had not bought nor read this one.

Loving this! It's stirred my interest so that I've been Googling & finding articles & MRI images explaining more about the updated research.

Loving it! I just got to the part where they've semi-successfully done fMRI's on two pet dogs. It's. Got me Googling dog brain vs human brain images & research. Extremely interesting to any Dog-Lover!

Still reading this hilarious book. The author has a book signing here in Nashville next weekend to promote her latest book "Furiously Happy". I doubt I will actually go, but she's either a Loon or just a truly funny person, in person!

Just bought & started reading this book. I laughed out loud before I'd finished the Introduction. Some reviews didn't seem so great, but I've been wanting to read this book for a while now. All the OT I've been working the last few weeks became REAL when I saw my paycheck today, so I finally bought the (Kindle) book. I'll let you know how it goes.

I'm liking it!

This is a light-hearted read that I was in the mood for. Some humor, some minor marital discord (nothing serious, just the normal been-together-thirty-yrs-so-things-you-do-get-on-my-nerves type of discord) & a murder mystery. With life-long BFFs with whom to commiserate & lean on.

Enjoying this book immensely! It wasn't at all the light-hearted break I was looking for while in the middle of "The Hour I First Believed", by Wally Lamb. But I'm really getting into the main character's mind. I like her a lot! And I have a feeling this one may have a happy ending. Not yet, tho. If it does, it has a long way to go to get there.

The book is really (like all of Lamb's books I've read) emotionally draining. I've had to take a break to read another book before I get back to Lamb's. It is a great novel but so intense that I find it affecting my mood. I def will get right back to it, tho!

I'm really enjoying this! I was surprised to see so many low ratings/negative comments on my Kindle! On Amazon the book has 4 stars with over 1300 readers. Since this is about the Columbine tragedy there will be monumental moments. But getting there and then getting past that moment is well worth my time.

It's great! I had to take a time-out while in the middle of the book to Google & read up on more details & the time-line of these events. So much tragedy (as we all knew at that time, via news coverage), much heroism & sacrifices are well described in this book. And yet, it's not a depressing read.
