I’m finding the protagonist very unsympathetic.

The saga of the mute tongue tied women! Ridiculous. Why am I still listening?

I have a feeling I’m going to be furious that I wasted time on this book.

I just now read some reviews and am dismayed at so many negative ones. I read another Karin Slaughter years ago and didn’t like it but thought I’d try again. Well, we will see.

Terrible narrator

Not your typical ‘old man’!

This guy can write! Or his ghost writer can. I’m not sure if he wrote it himself. At any rate it is very good. Hope it makes him a lot of money. I think he got a very raw deal.

The book is wonderful. For some reason I find it easier to see the overall picture when listening. And I love Mace’s reading style.

Blissful to listen to this. I’ve already picked up some nuance that I missed reading it. I fervently hope enough buy it to merit recording the whole series!

Listening to audiobook! Am loving the narration. He has the proper depth and tone. It’s such a delight to hear the words flow.
