A question brought up... What's the difference between a baby conceived in rape and one that wasn't conceived in rape?

Too many times, we Christians let our feelings guide us instead of God's word. Often, we're manipulated by others when we hear, "If you really cared (or had empathy) for so and so, you'd support them in everything they want to do." It's not loving towards them if they're doing wrong. Beware of empathy manipulation. It's toxic empathy.

Currently studying the book of Acts using Ligonier's free online videos.

Honored to be able to borrow this book, one of the oldest in the collection, from the Maine Forest & Logging Museum as a volunteer. The Pearl of Orr’s Island’ was not published until 1862, although Harriet Beecher Stowe started it ten years earlier.

After listening to the section on Washington, it's clear that not everyone leading our young country was pro-Washington. A tireless worker, he died while taking his pulse.

Completed Ch 22 before I had to return it to library. Will renew.
