I haven't felt like hunting down something new to read, nor up to reading anything from my To Read list. It's just been a lot of rereading of past series since I've been feeling under the weather. Comfort, I guess?

The Sugar Queen, by Sarah Addison Allen, is on sale for $1.99 (Kindle), and while I have a print copy, that copy exists inside a box, in some room of my mother's house back in Florida. I'm feeling like I need to re-read it, and $1.99 is $1.99. I totally one-clicked that shit so fast.

Rereading the first several Mercy Thompson books since its been so long, and then I can work on getting caught up.

I wish there was an easier way to separate my reading a kindle/print book vs listening to an audiobook. I will often listen to a book after I've read it, since it forces me to catch things I may have missed when I was reading (I tend to read quickly, so small details can sometimes get lost). I can see Audible versions in GR, but it considers it the same thing as the other versions, so I can't mark it separately. :/

Been rereading a lot of books the past few days. Apparently I'll reread 5-10 books for every one new book. Geez.

I was enjoying the Daniel Faust novels, but apparently couldn't wait to finish them before starting Harmony's spinoff series.

DNF. What the actual... How is this so highly rated? Do people not care about good writing? Couldn't get past pg14/6% mark. If this were a paperback I'd throw it across the room.

The prologue made me cringe. Let's see how the first chapter goes.

You know you're a good daughter when your mother uses more exclamation points than is necessary in her thank you for the Mother's Day gift of Kindle Unlimited. Bonus points if she gifted her tablet to your grandmother and now they both benefit.

I've been reading this on and off for a couple of days now. It's slow, with a lot of little areas that make my eyes gloss over. The underlying plot has seen very little movement, so I hope that picks up enough to help me get through this book. No idea if I'll feel compelled to keep reading the series. Maybe when I'm desperate? We'll see.

I'm enjoying rereading this series. Holds up, and is refreshing after a lot of the crap I've recently read.

I love-hate series. Completely compelled to automatically start the next in a series of its available. Already have my predictions for this volume, so let's see how it works out.

Enjoyable light read. Nothing mind-blowing, but a good half step in the world building.
