haven’t read this one am intrigued hopefully lena is an actual character this time but i fear the worst

this book was deeply important to me in my childhood i am now beginning a re read in adulthood to try and discern why

i don’t often update halfway through books but i think this has lowkey been life changing for me so far

re reading before chot comes out and i grow more excited every dayalthough i continue to be furious about the fact that matthew was in love with cordelia not james like are u kidding. i think the only reason he wasn’t was because the only parabati love story is emma and julian (gag) but cassandra clare only remembered that halfway through writing which is why it seems like matthew is in love w james the whole time

time to re read this monster before chain of thorns comes out because it’s been two years and i don’t remember shit

about to re read this because i have only read depressing books recently and i don’t think that’s a good omen for 2023

been in such a reading slump recently and i hope this pulls me out
