They finally popped of Johnny! It was sad. He was a good guy even if wasn't very dependable. I'll miss him. I feel sorry for the family.

The book has moved out Francis’s general upbringing and has moved into the politics of her parents and surrounding. The politics part is less interesting to me personally, we’ll see what it adds up to

I like this book. I like the characters for the most part. The lead girl is a bit too sanctimonious, but she’s ok. This book is taking a bit of forever to wrap up.

The main girl is really sanctimonious. It’s getting kind of annoying. I’ve completed one book in this series and liked it and am reading another that I don’t like as much, so far this is in the middle

It was a fun book. I’ve not read lgbtq (blatant, not coded) literature before so this was a good first book to have started that.

I was wondering if the twist would satisfying enough for all the set up, and it was good enough. Enough to want to see the wrap up.

It was a good book. I thought there was going to be a cool historical (alternate reality) cameo towards the end there but it didn’t pan out.

A weird Cinderella. But I like Benedict, even thought he seems like a boob. Sophie was well rounded, and I liked that certain characters got their comeuppance.

I like the chemistry of the characters but are they going to be in this one setting the whole time?

It was a good book. It was a good time And I’m interested in all of the characters journeys from here. I like caedon but I don’t foresee a good ending for him. Really interested in learning his past

Shut Avery must read better in person ‘cause I’m not really seeing the appeal

I really liked the main character. He’s really funny. I like how he was constantly trying to compare the magic to science trying to make it make sense.

It was a bit to procedural for me but I still want to try out another book in the series

I’m really having fun with this book. I’m interested in all of the main characters so far and can’t wait to see where they ended up. My favorite so far is probably Wirr. I didn’t expect him to have such a big part, but I was really sold on him after his discussion with Dav on the politics of their situation

Poor Leslie

The book is still pretty funny, and I like all the magic world building, but because I’m not a huge fan of procedurals, I am losing the plot a bit

But it’s still fun

I like Peter as a protagonist. The book is pretty funny so far. I like Nightingale too, I hope to learn more about him

Bast sucks. I really liked Simmon and wilem, and wish the had been in the book more. Ambrose is a pretty good villain, the teachers at the school were colorful. I really liked how the book talked about music. The last line kind of makes me want to continue, but the the series isn’t even done so I won’t.

80 chapters in and the book is finally moving along. It was moving along at a good pace too until the dragon showed up. Now it’s ground to a halt again
