I really hate how quirky the main character always has to be in her narration and I really hate that she keeps breaking the fourth wall and addressing the reader, it makes me so uncomfortable.

This Commander Davis is so unprofessional, she's has made me angry from the very start. What do you mean you don't even know if her uncle is alive? Idk, I feel like this book was doing really well until 60%, then a bunch of stupid shit started happening and now I'm not having fun anymore. I'm almost 90% in and the biggest threat hanging over the couple's heads still hasn't come to pass. This book could've been at least 20% shorter and that's a fact.
