This was a very interesting book. I had not heard of face blindness and found it fascinating and frightening to not be able to recognize people by their faces. Eleanor comes face to face with a murderer in the beginning of the book but is unable to identify any features other than a black cap. The book was very slow to start but by page 60 or so it started to pick up, the last 150 found me not wanting to stop.

I enjoyed this book, although not as much as Simple’s other book about Murray McBride. This prequel was nice but not necessarily the best way to enjoy The Five Wishes of Mr. Murray McBride. The author has a nice almost conversational style of writing. I will read more of his work if given the opportunity. I recommend this book.

This was a wonderful book. I loved the story line and many of the characters. It was interesting how Addie was able to survive and thrive in her very non traditional life. I absolutely loved the character of Henry. He was so flawed and his overthinking and constant worries add to his charm. I highly recommend this book.

I enjoyed this book a great deal. This is the second book I have read by this author and both were well written. I like his style of writing and characters. His books deal with some interesting topics and somewhat unusual abilities. They are so woven into the story that they seem more believable. Great escape books! I highly recommend this book and look forward to reading another book by Haig soon.
