Did not realize how big this book was when I picked it up - what happens when you have it on Kindle.

I am both enjoying the plot and the world and annoyed by the dialog. Not a book if you read for strong characters, but I can see why people would love this book. I wish I was loving it more.

The voices are not every distinct. I find myself having a hard time knowing when perception changes. I thought maybe it was just the audio book, but reading in paper I had the same difficulty.

This book is amazing. I hope the last half is as good as the first.

I switched from Kindle to Audio after about the fourth chapter. I am connecting to the story so much better via Audio.

I am enjoying the writing and the characters. However, the psychoanalysis is a lot more old school then current psychology. I expected it to be set in the past - but I think it is suppose to be a contemporary. Also, the male narrator does a horrible women's voice. It was so bad it was kind of insulting.

The story has taken an interesting turn. I wanted to stay up reading, but I was too tired.

This book is not exactly what I expected, but I am enjoying it a lot. I think I need to read Weber's early works to get all the siren references.

I am listening to this via text to speech on my Amazon Echo while working in my bullet journal. I forgot that I left it on the cover (for Insta pictures). Guess what. Text to speech reads all pre text including the copywriter information and table of contents. Fun.

I am having a hard time reading this. It is just so eh, not near as good as the first three books. To much just doesn’t fit. Anyone else feel this way?

This book is basically let's take my experience and make it the reality for all people on the spectrum. Throw in some science so it isn't complete BS. Apparently I do not have complex emotions and defense mechanisms. I mean really Freud? His theories were not exactly based off of "normal" people. I hate hearing that term. I am going to have to take a break from this book.

Tried her last series, but really wasn't fond of her writing. It didn't flow well. Decided I would try out her new series. I mean she has written quite a few books now, it was worth revisiting. Yeah no. The plot is weak and the writing is still weak. I'll finish because it is that horrible - but no more. Still, can't figure out how she is such a big name in urban fantasy.
