DNF. Started okay, but …

472 pages, a 2024 book by Kristin Hanna. I dashed through this book, a story of the 1960’s Vietnam war and those who served, mainly the WAC Nurses.

Started it-couldn’t get past first 20 pages. DNF

DNF. I love Ms. George’s Inspector Lynley-Barbara Hager’s series, but I can hardly believe she wrote this book.

Been on my bookshelf for several years. It’s about time to read this.

I almost never read fantasy books, but this one caught my eye so I thought I’d give it a try, based on so many positive reviews.

Just started this, the final book in the Department Q saga. I will be sorry it’s ending. More review to come.

True crime short stories.

Starting Book 20 in this series on 9/2/2024. I’ve read books 1,2 and 3 recently and just saw this #20 in the book store and couldn’t resist buying it. I do like the series.
I’ll catch up with #4 thru 19 later.

DNF. I don’t like the characters.

This is a terrific book, as are all Erik Larson’s books. I’m about 1/3 through it.
I purchased it, but am having to read other books which I had on hold at my public library first ( before they come due.).

Received this for birthday gift.

I don’t know how I missed this oldie in the series.

The great thing about Andy Weir’s stories is, you don’t have to know his science, but his explanations are written in such a conversational manner, they’re entertaining. I’ve just started this book, and am already enthralled. Let’s see what the next 450 pages bring.

I’m very late to this series. Just starting Book#3 (“C is for ...). If the books continue being so much fun, I’ll read them all.

Enjoying #1 in this new series by well-known author whose books I’ve not read before.

Watched Season One based of Book One (My Brilliant Mind ) on this quartet on HBO. Can’t wait for Season Two (based on this book), so I’ll read it.

Reading the English version which is called “Labyrinth of the Spirits.” Don’t know why Goodreads doesn’t list the English version. It’s the last in the series that started with “Shadow if the Wind.”

Think I'm going to give up reading this one and return it to the public library. The plot is good; but it's pretty dull.
