Loving the prose, here’s a recent example: «When vernal Dawn first touched the sky with flowers,
they rose and dressed: Odysseus put on
his cloak and tunic, and Calypso wore
her fine long robe of silver.» (p. 187)

Very engaging - and a surprisingly easy read so far, considering it was written more than 150 years ago
