DNF at about 10% I just couldn't get into the book

This is apparently the author's first book, and she grew a lot since. I'm not loving this, and I really liked the two other books I've read from her. I just hope the story improves from here

Dim sum asylum - 2 stars

I have changed my perception of the book, and now I am able to finish it. I imagined if a horny teenager wrote a book about a hit man, this would be it.

I don't think this is the book for me. I do not find Leland funny. In fact, it seems to me like he may suffer from a mental illness and need professional help. Will try one more chapter.

Listening - About 13 hours in: The desert dragon sounds like Napoleon Dynamite. So funny, I ugly laughed.

About 7h in. Lady Tina is hilarious. Poor Sam!

Getting there, slowly but surely

Ugh, I can't get my claws in this. It should be interesting, but it isn't. I am now at the stage where I skim through it during my 15 minute lunch break at work. Every day a few pages.

Ryan Loveless - Jean Paul. Beautiful story set during WWII

Shae Connor - Discovering Colombus . Two cops bonded during an overnight trip to Colombus. I liked the story and would definitely read more books by this author

Maria Alberts - Hot stuff - did not like this one. Too many characters, too many protective cousins/brothers and insta-love

Pepper Espinoza - Delayed in San Diego. Chandler, failed restuaranteur, met Cody, a Marine back from Afghanistan, during a delay on San Diego airport. It was sexy and sweet.

Lou Harper - Famished. Bartender Sean has a crush on hunky traffic cop Hunter. Funny and sweet.

Chasing Jamie by Eric Alvin: Jamie is not a very likeable character. Very high maintenance. Do not know why Wade bother.

I just finished a book that was on my "currently-reading" shelf for ages, so now I am tackling this one

I have started this so long ago that I forgot most of the plot and had to start over.
