Catching up on reviews. Picked up in a charity shop as the cover was cool. Read through it with some intrigue but never heard of the series before and I'm perhaps not the intended reader. Curries but not my style.

Enjoying a lot so far

Enjoyed this. It's pretty male-oriented and testosteroney, but the narrative/citation weaves around and makes you think it through. Glad I read the Black Casebook first, looking forward to the next in the timeline...

Re-reading, because one should.

Unexpectedly loved this, a sense of discovery - or, more accurately, not knowing what one is supposed to do with one's life - runs through it and discovers joy and a certain amount of zen.

Definitely work a look to finish the series.

Liking this a lot, very gentle and interesting, made me get Bagpuss up on the TV again but the kids wanted to watch Superstructure but hey ho. Making a nice change from Ghormenghast.
