I thoroughly enjoyed this memoir I too have been a caretaker at end of life for my father-in-law & the last few weeks of my Dads life Now we are the ones on the end of the phone for my declining mother in law Both situations are very hard This book is true and factual in the every day dealings of end care it also is the story of Erinas journey into learning a new craft - knitting

This book and Cilkas Journey by Heather Morris as well are going to haunt me forever
Their stories are loving told with humility
Would like to see both made into movies

I just can't ! This book is wordy and pretentious. I'm 200 pages in but can't bring myself to read more. Don't know if I should rate or not so very rarely do I not finish a book

Awesome! Loved this book set in three different time periods but done so beautifully it wasn't the hassle some books done like this can be. A beautiful love story all interwoven over time and how it resonates thru time
