THIS BOOK IS MESSING WITH MY MIND. So many Sherry Thomas world connections I can't even. Bennett is Camden. And Camden's grandson. And a Somerset. And he feels like Leo ab bit. There's a Mrs Asquith WHAT'S HER DEAL. Eva is Bryony and Leo. Zelda is sorta Toddy. I CAN'T EVEN. And I'm sure there's lots more to uncover since I'm like a third through or something. Whatttttt.

I loved EVERYTHING about this book except its super lame title.

BUT. i feel betrayed that the hero isn't full desi. i'll give him the benefit of the doubt but why the eff does he have to have golden hair.

This book is (mostly) deliciously funny, but somehow doesn't hold my attention. It's been maybe three weeks since I put it down and though I totally want to finish it I've no plans to pick it up again soon.

I feel like Michaels is doing something meta-critical that I don't really get - what with the too-perfect, too straight forward dialogue. Also, all this cutting people off with kissing is so oddly old school o.o

I'm really liking Weatherly's writing advice, though it really undermines her credibility that she puts an apostrophe in 'Hogwarts'.

Augh this book! Some of it is solid, some of it is even good, but then the hero and heroine have these awful drecky disjointed conversations! :(

I really want to like this book, but it's making me think there should be a strict rule on how much period slang an author is allowed to use per paragraph. Also, the hero seems distinctly idiotish and I can only wonder if it'dve been better to start with the heroine.
