I counted 3 (three) clear cases of miscomunication in this book. I think 1 is forgivable in special circumnstances, that's it.

I appreciate Nynive taking a bit more spotlight, because I honeslty could not with Cadsuene anymore

This book is laging in the mid section, Grace, just chose, jesus

I appreciate how these books do not try to convince their FMC that they do not want what they have expressively said they do want.

I refer to this book, when discussing it with the people that have read it, as The Gathering of Lost Plot Lines.

This book should have been one of the 9th and both could have been an email. Now we are spending 500 million hours with Egwane while the rebel Aes Sedai try to rally themselves ot make 1 (one) decision. But not to worry, Jordan still finds time to have all these women worry about men.

I can see where The Godfather comparisons come from and I liked TG. I mean, men use your words amirite? but also the complexities of existing outside institutions, where everything, justice, vengance, business, etc. comes down to standing and posturing and reputation. Very well crafted.

when i have 4 books started you know things are not going well with any of them..

Im not sureit is the point, but I find it interesting how the book opens with Hilo and as it progresses I like him less and less and less

Im enyoing it, not massively impressed by anything being done here, but the world building is interesting.

I love that even at the climax battle of this entire book, and expected for more of this bloody series, somebody takes a moment to notice somebody's "bossom"

So, I finished the first of these 3 stories, Rocannon's world. It feels very much like a first book. A lot of interesting ideas, but lacking a common thread or objective tbh

Mat's POV chapters are UNBEAREABLE.
Also, if we needed Cadsuane, why did we kill Moiraine Robert, why, why Robert, why?

I mean, I like Sanderson, but I get it now, if he managed to make this mess comprehensible, no wonder the WoT fans would kill for him.

80% of this series' characters are women, and only about 10% of their conversations pass the Bechdel test, and that is WILD.
