The writing was really good, but all the characters suck, I want to strangle them. Maybe that’s just another indicator of the quality of writing! It was fun to finish this book while I was on the Faroe Islands.

Brienna is starting The Demon King (Seven Realms, #1)

It feels like the story didn't start until the very end, but the awesome worldbuilding in this book has me looking forward to the second book.
