So far, this is goooooood.

This is the kind of epic romance that makes my heart hurt (see also: Time Traveler's Wife, The Bronze Horseman). I know this one has a happy ending, but it's still so harrrrrddddd. *sniffle*

This book is breaking my heart already. In the best possible way.

Yeah...pretty sure I didn't have it figured out after all. BUT STILL SO GOOD.

I *think* I have this one figured out. Man, I hope I'm right.

These guys don't seem to be expending very much mental (or physical) effort to actually solve this case.

I think I figured out the ending. Or, rather, how I'd end the book if I were writing it.

I'm almost never right about these things.

I think the author should have done a find and replace for the terms "forty years ago" and "at the time." The theme is a bit heavy handed so far.

Okay...so he's a bounty hunter AND an ex-cop AND an ex-pro-football player? Dude. Add a stint as a cowboy in there and he's got every hawt romance hero profession covered.

Okay, I'm totally hooked on this book and may never sleep again.

BUT they just went for a motorcycle ride and didn't wear helmets. ARGH. Wear your helmets, people. Even if it's just in a romance novel.

You wouldn't think a book that's 60 percent about Victorian banking practices would be interesting...but you would be wrong. Loving it so far.

I picked this one up after I asked for recommendations on tearjerkers. So far, I haven't cried, but daaaaammmnn this book is good.

I'm scared for the ending. If it ends like The Great Gatsby does, I might cry.

This book is odd. Good, but odd. I am, at once, enchanted, entertained, and perplexed.

I'm so sad! I don't think I can finish this book, and I really wanted to like it. The first half was promising, but the second half is about 90 percent introspection, most of which is repeated to the point of irritation. And the younger brother, who started out as adorably precocious, has become downright unbelievable.

This book is breaking-my-heart good.

Aaaaaand I'm hooked.

So far, this book is worth reading for the limericks alone.
