I hate when main characters are stupid 😫😫

I’m boreeeeddddd

sheesh I’m only halfway through & I’ve already cried like 5?? times

This book is so unbelievably poorly written and I am having the hardest time getting through it. My bad for falling for the cute cover art

Idiot

I’m already obsessed. Dystopian love island/big brother vibes

Possibly the best first kiss scene I’ve EVER read

Read the whole series just for this book bc it’s based off of Spencer Reid 🫡🫡🫡

I’m pissed I have to read the epigraph which is basically the whole story again from home boys pov after already sitting through 350 pages of the author romanizing adultery

can we as a society please agree to stop making covers like this like omg so embarrassing

oh lizzie 😭😭😭

oh I’m so sat I’m so ready I’m so excited even tho ik I’m gonna be sobbing ahfbskwkrhnws

I’m a little disturbed that the past like 7 books I’ve read have all had something to do with creepy birds but it was coincidental I swear

If you’ve read the Ravenhood trilogy but haven’t read this book, you HAVE TOOOOOOOOO

If you took a shot for every time the author mentioned how tiny, small, or flat-chested this girl is, you’d be dead in the first few chapters

I’ve decided I really REALLY don’t like this author’s writing style. And the main character is annoying. Will try to finish quickly

Only able to read while baby naps so 🤷🏼‍♀️

In case you didn’t know, despite being 200~ pages shorter than crescent city, it has 50k more words. Sooooo it’s kind of taking forever to read

Yeah it’s not even Halloween but I need some joy so I am diving into my stack of Christmas rom coms

You know what makes a bad day worse? This book.

This book literally sucks but I can’t dnf for some reason 😭😭 the writing and editing sucks the characters suck the plot suck the romance sucks everything sucks

yee haw !!

A really interesting take on the king Midas story !! I liked it a lot but it was mostly world building. Super excited for the rest of the series though because I can’t see exactly where it’s going and I like that.

bruh

I’m reading this to my class, so it’s taking a while to get through but pretty good so far 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

DNF because ITS TOO MUCH. I am traumatized by this book
