Time for a classic.

Apparently, it's my annual revisit of Goodreads in January where I realise that I haven't kept track at all of any of the books I read last year... Trying to figure out the best way of updating going forward. May just only add the books I have recently finished and then think about going backwards bit by bit...maybe.

New year, time to get organised!

It's been like wayyy over a year since I logged into Goodreads. We'll see if I stick to it again, but I am also slowly, slowly, getting back into reading since falling off of it with graduate school and life. My reading habits just completely stopped there for a while. But I'm hopeful that I am rediscovering a new iteration of it.

Halfway through--it's okay. I find that it is sort of hard to keep up with all the characters so it jumps around a lot. I prefer the show I think.

I don't know if its because I just haven't been in a great audiobook mood or if I'm tired, but I am crawling through this one...

Also rereading Uprooted but don't want to screw up past statistics/reading challenges. Just as good as the first time.

I'm in the middle of Chapter Two. They just discovered the prison. It's good--I think the points I enjoy the most are when it is different from the show. There is so much that the show followed fairly closely that it makes reading it in comic form less enjoyable. But the differences are certainly interesting.

And this just got a little unbelievable...

It's not bad. A little simple, but that's just fine with me. The narrator is doing a great job differentiating between the two characters.

For some reason, I have a hard time getting in the groove of switching back and forth between the Reminiscence and the main story. With only a two year difference, I have to remind myself which section I'm reading. Still enjoying it though! Wish I was further along--I think these stories are best read steadily through.

a good blizzard read

I'm beginning to remember some parts of the plot, but I am definitely happy for the reread. It's just as amazing the second time around and I am realizing that I am catching a lot of things that I may have either missed the first time around or that may come in handy for the sequel.

As much as this is a second read of the book, I still had trouble getting into the rhythm at first. The world is so rich that you feel like you need to hold on to every detail before just going with it.

Pulled out the sequel from my TBR jar (that I call my TBR TARDIS) so I figured I needed to reread the first one since it's been 1.5 years...

Listening to this. I'm both alternatively fascinated and struggling through it. I think I need to just marathon it so I can stop only listening to it when I'm about to fall asleep--it drags it out a bit.

so i got worried that something bad was going to happen so I looked ahead. and...

So I have about 10 books that I never got around to reviewing this year and I have 4 more to read to meet my goal...let's see how much more I accomplish! At the very least, my shelves are more up to date...

Not sure if I will have to read anymore of this for work, but I read chapters 7, 8 and 10. It is easy to understand with lots of examples from Google. Not sure how applicable everything really is and makes me feel like I'm in the wrong industry, but it's decent.

2 hours...both women are nuts.

Reading for a work assignment...

Barely started and already want to read more!

Listening to this takes some concentration. I'm thinking this might be another one easier read than listened to.
