I am so grateful for trials! I just read 2 Nephi 2 which teaches about The Fall and The Atonement. I know that God gives us laws so that we can have sin and punishment. Because of this, we can truly experience joy and righteousness. "For it must needs be, that there is an opposition in all things" (2Nephi 2:11). I know that all things happen for a reason.
