Halfway through the book - it is so maddening! Everything the character does is soooooo stupid.

Love. I just adored how this book ended. Strong women who are super flawed but also human and full of compassion.

And now I’m going to go listen to Fleetwood Mac on repeat (I know they’re just one inspiration)

Unique mystery/thriller! I highly recommend the audiobook, as the frame story is a podcast, and the audiobook plays it as such.

I never do this, but I’m giving up on this book. It’s just . . . not good

Worth the read, especially for white parents.

I've read about five ways of looking and I'm not sure I can finish. This is the most depressing, unpleasant book. Every cliche you can imagine about sad, lonely fat girls.

Decent but predictable ending.

Note to self: donor read a book about teen girls making bad decisions while your tween daughter is at a sleepover.

I've discovered I really don't like Donna Tartt's books. If I weren't this far, I'd stop reading.

Funny book so far. A bit worried that Bray is trying a little too hard to satirize our obsession with beauty. Hopeful that it will take an unusual turn.
