Part of me always wishes that we could spend more time in Buckland, especially at Frodo's new house in Crickhollow. I love the descriptions of that region. (On the other hand, we're about to head into the Old Forest and the Bombadil passages, which are some of my favorite parts as well.)

I always forget until I'm actually rereading it that Miguel breeds bulls for bullfighting. And that very much does put a damper on our relationship, as Westley would say. Because the thing is, Miguel, I was trying to love you, but then you being a little b*tch kinda makes that impossible, doesn't it?

Y'all, I'm currently reading a Debi Pearl book (quake in your boots), and I don't want to add it to my "currently reading" shelf because I don't know how long it'll take me to finish it and I don't want it showing up on my page indefinitely, but PLEASE send help and hugs and prayers because oh my gosh I am STRUGGLING --
