What the heck is this?!

It makes me incredibly sad to think that this is the last (new) book I’ll ever read that Mr. Nelson DeMille had a hand in writing…RIP Mr. DeMille…

I am so mad! I hit around page 250 and the next 50 or so pages were repeat pages from previous chapters and the chapter I was on is missing. And I can’t get to the library to get another copy since I’m working…guess this one goes on hold

How is this book so popular? I hate these people…

I don’t know what it is about Zusak, but he almost always pulls me in immediately

If I wanted to finish my reading challenge, I shouldn’t have started this series...

Here’s another, “While I have no evidence that Sickert bet on horse races, I don’t have any fact to say he didn’t. Gambling may have been a secret addiction.” If you can’t say he did and can’t say he didn’t, how could you say anything at all? I don’t get it

So far, this quote sums it up for me...
“I don’t know about Mrs. Wilson. She could have been a teetotaler.” If you don’t know, You can’t just leave it at that and present it as fact, she also could have been a saint...but again, you don’t know...

Not sure this is the best thing to read on my meal breaks at work...eh, whatcha gunna do...

Rereading one of my favorites

Rereading this before I move on to books 2 & 3

Pretty terrible, horribly written, short stuttering sentences...and big revelations like Dale Berra saying "Dad said Nolan (Ryan) threw real hard" wow! Wanna tell me the sky is blue also?

Didn't realize this was a collection of shorts when I started reading...interesting tho

Well, the styles lost its charm...and so have the Dunnes...

Interesting style of prose that I don't know I've encountered before...I'm intrigued

Well, this will be an undertaking considering I have 19 of these books...and there are 20+ in the series...

Better than I thought it was going to be...

First Stephen King book I've ever had to slog through...the only character I liked was the dog...and well....we know what happens to him...

Why do I always start series in the middle? Guess if it's good I go back to book one.
