I don’t have enough working knowledge on Shakespeare to fully enjoy this book but it’s still interesting so far.

Representing depression in media is tricky. You want to make it as realistic as possible but its hopelessness and unending pain. You have to give the reader hope that it could be fixed but without professional help, it cannot. So you have to provide an acceptable resolution without false hopes but one which inspires.

This book is threading on very thin ice.

The revelation about arthur is not nearly as shocking as the book built it up to be.

The book started out really slow but the last half made up for it. What a page turner! Every page keeps me on edge. I pulled an all nighter for this and I have a presentation today but I don't care. This is more important.

If Rin can train her own shamans, what's stopping Nezha from training his? It's also unsettling how easy the new Cike were able to access the gods with just a few lessons and poppy seads. It shouldn't have been that easy.

I don't care for this instalove.

It is weird that the story is set at the modern times but it seems to be told from the perspective of a woman who belongs to an older generation. In my head, the setting is around WWII but then the main character throws words like snapchat and Instagram.

Without Rin's powers, this is barely a fantasy book.
